The Rigby was a pleasant surprise. Good burgers, great music (at least until some hillbilly gets into the jukebox and overrides the house mix) and dome hockey in the basement. It is a testament to how much we enjoyed ourselves there that even though we were within two blocks of at least a dozen bars we stuck around the Rigby all night.
Well... we did stop at Maduro for a nightcap. How couldn't you? I consider Maduro to be a rare treat. Great drinks in a low key environment... and I love the sign. The fact that it's a cigar bar can be a little rough on the eyes though. I regret that I didn't get the "cask conditioned" Bell's Two Hearted Ale that they had on tap, but it was getting late and Two Hearted can lead to trouble the next day... and I can't imagine that cask conditioned reduces the alcohol content.
Pro Tip: Need matches? They have piles of them at the bar for the cigar smokers.
