Besides being a great little hideaway for Italian food it turns out the Greenbush is also a great bar in it's own right. Not only is it an enjoyable place for a few drinks with friends, it turns out that they are noted for having one of the best whiskey selection in town. I'd never really considered it as a bar before, having only been there for dinner, but it turns out that it's name is
The Greenbush Bar, and not just "The Greenbush" as I'd always called it.
Pro Tip: The Greenbush is a short walk from the Birthing Center at Meriter Hospital and is an excellent place to celebrate the arrival of a family member. You can walk over, have a beer with some friends, and be back in your hospital room in under an hour. It's also a great option for take out, because let's face it... hospital food sucks.
