#37 - The Robin Room, Forequarter

Johnson Street has been woefully underutilized since my arrival in Madison.  It's a holdover from the olden days when the north side of East Washington was the dry side of town.  While Willy Street housed a collection of bars all within a half dozen block, the long Johnson Street corridor was pretty much the Caribou, Bernie's Rock Shop, Mildred's Sandwiches, Sofia's and a whole bunch of nothing.  Thanks to Madison's hipsters that situation persists no more! The Robin Room is a tasteful cocktail lounge, replete with warm wood, and an in-house taqueria staffed by a pair of bearded lumbersexuals.  It's a pleasant place for a drink with your drinking buddies or your special lady friend.
Afterward we re-visited Forequarter to sample the burgers on the late nite menu.  Greg continued the mystery meat theme with an order of some fried animal byproduct or another and good times were had by all.
